Day 2 with the Jo's and Eileen

I took them downtown and showed them the church history museum and consignment shop I frequent.  We then went to Ruth's Diner for lunch just up Immigration Canyon. She specializes in Mile High Biscuits.



If you want a lemon you just take it---notice Micah in the picture needing a lemon right this minute! The waitress accidentally spilled rootbeer on Jo Marie, so you know we got good treatment after that, although the accident was forgotten.

Later that evening we enjoyed a free concert at the Gallivan center by the Utah Symphony.  We then strolled up through City Creek and played in the fountains and watched another show with fire and water.  If you can, try to hit the fountains around 8:30 to watch the foutain show at 9:00. Spectacular!
