Spotlight: Steve

Steve Hanks, Mat's close friend from his youth, dropped in while he was visiting from Houston with his family. He is such a devoted fan of the Pipeline he practically begged us for a post. Here you go Stephen. You've earned it. He and his lovely wife Ashley were married a week after us and had their reception in Mat's parents backyard, in this very gazebo below. The significance of where they were standing was lost on his kids, Caden and Olivia. Anyway, if you are a passenger on a Skywest flight and have a particularly smooth landing, there is a good chance Captain Steve is your pilot.
