Ready For Take Off Houston

Hello our fellow listeners (tap, tap on the microphone). The Harrises are embarking on a fabulous journey. Hmmm..... Scratch the fabulous part because we don't know that yet and it could be bad karma. We're on a journey.

Tonight we traveled to Winchester, VA to get a little driving time out the way before our big adventure to Shenandoah National Park tomorrow.

In our swagger wagon we are currently:

Listening to: Wide Window by Lemony Snicket
(Potter is coming Kel)

Loaves of bread: 5

Water bottles Swigged: 2.75

Carsickness: 2 are queasy (me and Greti) and Micah says she's sick, but she's really lying.

Gas prices: down to $3.83 (Morgantown $4.09)

Mishaps:
shampoo bottle leaked all over several items in a grocery bag. Nothing reported damaged.

Funny happenings:
Micah teaching Gretchen sight words. "That's wwright dretchen! The word is "if." (Like she knows! The flash cards were for her)

A town called Paw Paw. Imagine saying you were from Paw Paw.

Cousin It asleep upon arriving at our hotel.

Sounds like a good adventure so far. I'm hoping gas is cheaper in Martinsburg too. By the way, Jared informed me that Paw Paw is a fruit that only grows in this part of the country. Now you know. Too bad you have started HP, you won't regret it.

Dave's brother used to live in Winchester and we have been there a couple of times...cute little town with lots of Sheetz gas stations :) We hiked and swam in Shenandoah Nat'l Park too and loved it. Gas out here is $4.38 :( Let's chat soon!
