Old Plymouth and NEWport and lots of Rain
Plymouth Rock
Rock on!
Speaking of rocks.... the kids collected these rocks in Salem and gave them each a name; Phillip, Joe, Kevin, Steve, and a small one named Pyrite. We found a special spot for their rocks in our rental car, underneath the stereo.
It got a little chilly, so I felt a Boston souvenir (sweat shirt) was in order.
Oh. And, it was free donut day at Dunkin' Donuts, so we had to indulge again.
On to Newport......
When we stepped foot into Newport, guess what welcomed us? A big OL' laundromat sign. Cute of them. I don't think we'll ever see a sign like this in our life with our correct spellings.
The sweatshirts we bought 2hr ago also covered maximum head protection from the rain when we arrived at our rented cottage.
Go away rain!
We loved our house! They were great people to rent from, it was walking distance to everything --downtown, the warf, the mansions, and the cliff walk. Perfect for morning runs and a refreshing walk.
And perfect for Brian and Cassandra's dog Cosi.
And sunsets
The kids were perfectly content playing with legos all day. They didn't want to go anywhere.
part 2....

Our first trip to Newport rained and rained too! Still a beautiful place. Glad you had so much fun!
