Laundry Room and Upstairs

The laundry room is to the right if you're coming in my front door. On the right, there are stairs that go down, mid up and all the way up. My laundry room is mid up, just off of the kitchen. photo

Three of these bad boy closets (which I'll probably flip and put work stations on the other side. confusing and out of my mind, but sensible for us) photo

My apologies, I had this scheduled to post and it didn't and then I got caught up with the Ironman my brother in law was running in. it was so exciting to watch!

Here's us passing out wet sponges (unless you're Micah and you hand out dry sponges which had the runners confused) and we also passed out flat, warm, coke.  Did you know that is how most Ironmen/women prefer it? mat did a great job of shaking out the carbonation. I actually enjoyed flat coke cola as well.

Becket happened to be hanging out in the sponge pool.  It mind boggling to see them put their bodies through such endurance.  It was also convenient to have my Mom's house right in town so we could walk to it and have banana cake!

Here is the kitchen.  Remember this wall when you walked through my front door?  This is what is on the other side.

Here is a picture of the kitchen taken from the dining room.

Pantry 2 Gretchen is in it to show you the dimensions. I don't know what to do with all that space except to get cute organizers and baskets:)

Mod Room and Dining Room

Because this house has some character, we can get away with a modern/industrial/unique style (or so I hope). In the main room in our house, we've decided to go modern. Mat's had his eye on some designer knock offs and we can't wait to tackle this room. Like this Eames Lounge Chair ... and the Womb Chair
photo

Here's what you face when you walk in through the front door, the closet needs to go with a remodel in a few years. All in due time. I'm going to walk you towards the left stairs. You can see the dining room on the upper level, remember that.

Here's the mod room. You can see a little bit of the front door as I turned the corner to the left. photo photo
Here is the living room standing from the front window looking back into to the house. You can see the dining room--that's your compass.

We did happen to stumble upon this treasure Tuesday. We snagged it and think it will be a great addition in this room.

photo Here's the dining room: photo

Here's another piece we grabbed too. It's a buffet made out of doors which compliments my door table  perfectly.

Outside of House

Pictures of the new house.  It's a 1970's house and because of that, it has an unique design, and we love it! Here is the front of the house

photo

There are a lot of lovely trees in the front of the house.  I am now collecting birdhouses, so if any of you find any interesting ones, point me in that direction or send them to me and I'll reimburse you.
photo

Front Door- Lindsay inspired pine cone wreath.  I had a square box so I spray painted my endless pine cones out back and molded them in a square shaped box.  With heaps of glue I removed the box and a solid overnight dry, I now have an inexpensive wreath on my door that goes with the natural trees out front.
