When in Boston, run the Boston marathon. That's what Mat thought when he awoke Friday morning so that's what Forest dun! Completed it in a good time considering there was traffic and stoplights to get through (3:36). Crazy man horse!
And, the kids cheered.
After Bri and Cassandra got off work we headed up to Concord to see one of the many quaint towns across America. We had dinner at this joint. I can't remember the name, I should have wrote it down. It was good, but the waitress was sure flighty. We entertained ourselves by having Gretchen go cross eyed while waiting for ages for our check.
Concord's downtown home of Walden pond, Battle of Lexington and Concord, Old North Bridge, The Manse, and Old Sleepy Hollow Cemetery
The Cemetery's earth holds many famous authors and they are all contained on the same hill, naturally called, Author's Hill. These authors all lived together at the Manse home of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Take a look at famed.
The best part of the night was when I told Mat to sneak up and scare Becket behind a tree because he was getting a little creeped out about potential ghosts. Mat hissed behind a tree as they walked by and Cassandra let out a yelp!Wha, wha! Pretty funny.

Mat is nuts, by the way. Pretty sure he's the only person who wakes up in the morning thinking he might just run a marathon.
