New Garage door. The old one was opening on it's own and we'd never know when the ghost was going to close it, so we decided to get a new one. Plus the old one was just plain ugly.

Happy Birthday Mat
You say it's your birthday! You're going to have a good time....driving to St. George
Mat unfortunately is on his way to St. George for his birthday, but fortunately we celebrated him with this brand new weight set!!!!!!! AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!!!
While Becket and Mat were at a maturation clinic, the girls and I snuck downstairs to the lab to put it together.
We are laughing because of our lack of strength. To our defense, the metal was a tad bent and not even Mat could get it in.
Women are only so strong and we couldn't get it tight enough, so when Mat got home I apologized and handed him the wrench.
Happy Birthday!
I sure couldn't make it through life without you, especially when it comes to computers, repairs, reaching high things, and someone to bounce ideas off of.

Low Poly Jesus
New Painting inspired by the quilt festival in Oregon. I liked this low poly horse I saw in Oregon over the summer so I wanted to find a way to incorporate it into our somewhat modern/eclectic home. I also didn't have any pictures of Jesus in the home so I kept saying "We need some Jesus," to my beloved Mat I thought, why not put the two together. Problem: Mat and I couldn't figure out on a picture we both liked. We found this one and I loved it! Mat must have worked for 10hrs straight making triangles and then connecting them and then coloring them in. This masterpiece was shipped to us a few days ago it's up for purchase on Society 6 if you want one for your very own.....
It's magical under our colored lights.
Love me some Jesus!

Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day. We are on a sugar high with cookies and treats. Love sugar. I really do and I would marry it if I wasn't already married.
All bagged and ready to go! Wish their cubbies were all tidy and ready to go!
I didn't have time nor did I want to get all cutesy on Valentine boxes so I made this for my kids.
They are just growing up so FAST! They are talking about who has a crush on who and who gave who a "special" Valentine. Gushy. Gushy.

Saint George
Our Sugar Fast is over! Well, the kids only went without Nutella and Muddy Buddies. I normally don't give my kids muddy buddies weekly, but since we didn't have time to make them over the Christmas holiday, I told them I would make them after the 30 days. The for one day, was for my pure enjoyment.
We headed to St. George right after our Muddy Buddies Batch-O-Fun. Nothing like a little supper and milk and cookies at Grandma Elaines.
It was pretty late when we got there.
It was nice weather so we thought we'd attempt the leash with Foo again--but no go.
He's not budging. This is going to take some work.
Foo got to be reunited with his sister Bella. She was bedazzled and all dolly, Foo was hippie and grungey. We'll see what paths they choose in life.
My mom surprised us with a new toaster. Our old one was a little old school--Mat has a use for it's parts. It works like a dream. I should probably consider moving it away from the cereal boxes.

What's been going on
Saturday Morning Ski Lessons
I think just seeing the kids in their little ski outfits make me smile. Something about the bulkiness and looking like an adult out there gets to me.
I also like to watch the five year olds lay down on the snow with exhaustion and just make snow angels.

Becket happened to get the chance to go off the lift so he was mia
Activity Day Girls
We've been doing some fun things with our little activity day girls group held every other monday.
We went down to the gym for a little fitness.
Micah is a blast to work out with--she had me laughing so hard. I need to take her every time I go--she is a party in that little body and that laugh of hers gets your inner core.
We also had an interesting art lesson with Susan Stevens.
We learned to look at the shapes and lines when drawing something, hence these puzzles, instead of what is in our head. She is fabulous.
Chess week also happened. It was a little dude time in the library and it gets packed! SO many kids come out to play and there are never enough dudes to play.
The real hero was my father in law Bob. He showed up everyday to play the kids. He is so nice and never complains. I'm sad I didn't snap a picture of him, I must of skipped over him somehow. Weird?
Finally, we got with some med school friends Sunday night and we realized how much offspring we have created. I love these guys! I wish we could see each other more often---if it wasn't for all our children :-)
Here they are from oldest to youngest from our 3 families Addie 16 down to Abby who is 6:
