Mat's homemade TelePrompTer
It took him a whole two days to complete this. He's going to use it to create his doctor videos. He also made some lights the next day using cookie sheets, 9 light bulbs, and two black tubs.

Welcome to Downton Harrisby
In order to accomplish better manners at the Harris table we have started a new incentive program called "Downton Harrisby." To start off my new plan, I made each child watch a dinner portion episode with the Crowleys. As you can see, we can't even watch tv properly. Next, we made a list of good behaviors at the dinner table and stuck them on a silver platter. If they can show us these manners at dinnerstime, they are allowed to put three stickers on Carson. Once Carson is all covered up, we will take these manners into public and treat them to dinner at Downton Applebys. Scary thought, but I believe they can do it. Wish us luck!

Aunt Cassandra Drops in For a Visit
Aunt Cass landed in SLC just in time for our giant snowstorm! We were sure happy to see her for a bit. She brought us Dunkin Donuts all the way from Boston! What an Aunt to fight off passengers on the plane.
I just booked tickets to go see them in the summer. I am so excited! Micah thinks summer is tomorrow, unfortunately with all this snow, we have a long way to go!

F your F (Face your Fear)
Mat finished drawing Mr. Abe on the chalk board and hung it on a previous nail hole in our front room. Of course I loved the touch, Micah however thought Mr. Lincoln was a tad creepy. A week went by....
Micah: "Why is that man always staring at me? I don't like it!"And then she would run and hide or peer around the dining room wall just to check on him.
Pish! Posh! That's what I usually say in the hopes that she'll forget about it and move on.
One day, she decides to take Abe head on and cuts arm holes out of a Costco box. Mind you, she does this with a butter knife until I stepped in to help with a real knife, still not knowing her plan. After she told me, I was surprised he creeped her out so bad, but she was satisfied with her cardboard protection. This was the last time she would have to look that dark shadowy man in the face.
I dare not tell her that Abe can be erased.
