Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we were on our own. Mat was on call at the hospital so we decided to do our own nontraditional Thanksgiving.  We went up to Millcreek, we put our a turkey breast and vegetables in a Dutch oven and went on a snow hike while it cooked.



Foo didn't last too long in these cold temperatures.  He ended up in first class in Mat's jacket.




Kids had fun killing each other













When we returned, we were a little nervous about our dinner being done, but the Dutch oven never disappoints!



Perfection





It was a trick to keep Foo warm and away from the turkey while you ate.







Later that evening, we started our preparations for the new Star Wars movie by putting together the millennium falcon.
