St Thomas Trip!
We arrived on a red eye and entered summer immediately after plane chills.
To the Beach! Can you find St. Thomas' antisocial lizard?
Closer look!
View from our balcony
Iguana place where we found a total of 12 iguanas one sunny day!
We went to Iggie's for dinner and a show
Brownie buffet
The drinking started early
Cute sisters
Stilts guy entertainment. He asked me to dance and walk under his legs.
Part of the entertainment was a dude on weed jumping on broken glass and walking on fire.
What a night!
3 kids in a bed was not working!
By the third night we got smart and ordered a roll-a-away bed
The next day we took a ferry to St. John's and didn't read that you needed cash only to pay for the ferry. We got creative and we were able to get back to St. Thomas.
Trunk Bay
Awesome snorkeling path and beautiful beach.
Bird show at Frenchmen's Reef
Our Swimming mates
Rock Climbing
The day Becket got sunscreen in his eyes
Thought this was a good one!
Little police tribute right in the middle of the road on Thursday around 4PM
Our evenings were spent watching SPongeBob, Full House and Uncle Grandpa and playing the guitar
Lunch at Coco Joe's and a rest from the rain
Giant wave about to attack Gretchen!
Kayaking in the ocean
It rained most the day. The kids don't care though!
Grocery store shopping WAS INTERESTING
I did find my favorite treat--which are so hard to find in US stores nowadays. I bought four boxes and we devoured them by the time we got home!
Sisters still be their cute selves
Went to church on Sunday and this lady reminded my of a Mormon Mama Odie (from Princess and the Frog)
Becket and Gretchen's teacher was darlings and went above and beyond her primary teaching duty!
Dolphin game and Becket won the bottle of rum--except we traded it for a kid toy. The adults thought we were crazy.
Spot it by the poolside
Watching the cruise ships pass our resort
Last Day! Magen's Bay! Becket desperately wanting a coconut!
Personal servant for 2 seconds
Utter Delight for shakes (the attraction is the alcohol in the shakes!)
The view over hillside coming back from Magen's Bay
Becket found him a new hat after we got back
We also took a walk down to the waterfall
One last dip in the ocean for pedal boating before our plane takes off at 3PM
We said goodbye to the iguana friends
Goodbye St. Thomas
