Had the chance to visit with my friend Melanie and meet her premature microbaby born a tad too soon.  I hope the little baby can get off her ventilator soon!

These minimalist podcasts are getting to me.  9 garbage bags of trash and clothes to donate, but all of our closets can loosen their corsets now.

Basketball season wrap up

Basketball is wrapping up and this team went undefeated.  Micah did a lot of skipping down the court, but she was such a delight to watch, especially for the other parents.

Cousins of 2003

All these once little people were born in the year 2003 and now they are getting taller and more grown up like.  Makes you sad in a way, but you can take pride in their progress. it seems I've had to buy Becket pants every month and and half. He's not too bad looking either for those awkward teenage years.

School Outside

Sometimes I wish school was in session outside.  If they could only learn the art of scavenging and hunting to make a living they would be set. Until then, I'll take them out of school so they can at least get a sense of things.

Yard continues

As it gets warmer, we can hustle and hopefully end this yard construction.  Here come the Gabions to be installed!

Broken Foot!

Say it ain't so? Yes, Mat attempted the Powder keg Saturday the 5th of March and ran into some bad luck.  He was holding his own at 6th place too! His binding did a freak thing as he was climbing the mountain and locked, and because of the icy conditions, he rolled breaking the bottom of his tibia with it.  He has been a stud through it all.  Just accepted it and moved on, even though we are leaving for South America in 3 short weeks.
