We've got two holes that I'm currently loving in the backyard.
The first would be a nice rectangle for a firepit.
Just above this next hill....
The second hole would be the trampoline!

House Update
Full on phase 2 of the Harris Project. Now that our insides are done, we are well on our way to the outside. Here's what we plan to complete in the next few months.
House:
paint house grey
put cedar siding over garage, under existing windows, and decks
new soffit and facia
new gutters
paint trim black
stain chimneys
Landscaping:
tear out trees
excavate and level yard
pour cement retaining walls
pour fire pit
dig out trampoline
form deck around front existing pine tree
build upper patio
build garden boxes
excavate front yard
add new front walkway
new driveway
new fence
move A/C units to side of house
build shed
build small fence around garbage cans
plant new trees, shrubs, flowers
wait for the snow
When we bought the house it looked like this: (not too shabby)
Those pictures make me miss the green grass. Hopefully, the plan will improve the curb appeal just a tad and the green grass will return
Here's our yard after a whole summer of no yard work.
Here's the remodel so far....
This boy is not minding the dirt one bit!

Play it again Micah
Micah has a new piano teacher and she is awesome! I didn't really think Micah had it in her until this teacher brought out the best in her. She never really wanted to practice. Now she has a new tune!
She also gives that extra little touch such as comics to teach staccato.
PS Most days she is better than me.

Camping Whirlwind
We knew when our kids reached this ripe age of tween years we would be doing a lot of camping. Especially, now that we have a dog--a camper is very pet friendly. We've been thinking about a camping trailer for quite some time, but we just didn't know if we we're going to use it all that often and where would we store it? Well, this happened with the dog too, where would we store him? Like the dog,
...we bought a camper. We are an ever evolving family and we like to do it three days.
So.......
Monday: We bought a truck
Because ....
Tuesday: We bought a camper
Because......
Wednesday: We were going to go camping
Lots of memories ....
